Responsibilities
- Design, implementation and maintaining of internal IT Infrastructures (Hardware, Software and Network)
- Help desk support for employees
- Designing and set-up of server systems
- Maintenance and monitoring of WEB2.0 Services
- Establish monitor and notification system
- Identification and elimination of system failures
Qualifications
- Excellent Knowledge in administration of operating systems
- Debian and Fedora Linux OS, Windows 2000, XP Professional, Vista
- Administration of
- Apache, Tomcat, PHP
- Databases MySQL and DB2
- Mail Server, File Server
- Skills and Knowledge
- TCP/IP, HTTP(S), UDP, POP3, IMAP skills
- Security know how (VPN, Firewalls, SSL)
- RAID systems and Backup-devices
- Hardware Knowledge in particular of server systems
- Team player and good ability to communicate
- Sense of responsibility, proactive, accurate
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with development environments (Eclipse, Ant, CVS, ...)
- Experiences in maintain Java applications
- Interest in massive multi player on-line games (MMOGs)
